I used to really like Mechanized Assault and Elite Troops, but nowadays Spearhead, Osttruppen and Lightning War are my favorites. Despite most of the doctrines being sort of trash, the overwhelming amount of them presents the player with a wide variety of playstyle options. Sure, they're not as flashy as OKW and lack some stuff the DLC armies take for granted (still waiting for a forward retreat), but I don't mind their underdog status within the Axis forces. The teching reminds me of Imperial Guard from Dawn of War with the escalated battle phases and new production buildings. Ostheer, because I like their more conventional style of play (strong team weapons, small squads, good core army save for light vehicles and elite infantry).
